It is with great pleasure that we advise you of the merger of Medico Legal Insurance Group Pty Ltd (MLIG) and Sherrin Partners Pty Ltd, effective 1st October, 2016.

Anthony Brown and Stuart Carter are excited to be able to offer you a broader range of Financial Advice services.  We recognise that ongoing developments within the industry require the business to have sufficient scale to protect clients’ future interests.  We have achieved this by joining forces with Sherrin Partners.

Rest assured, we will continue as your Advisers.  Peter Steele will also continue to be a Consultant to MLIG and Sherrin Partners. Suzanne Jensen will also be joining the team at Sherrin Partners, and will continue the long standing relationships she has developed with the MLIG clients over the years.

The genesis of Sherrin Partners dates back to 1987, though the current structure has been in place since 2006.  Sherrin Partners is privately owned by three directors – Ken Hanlon, Jason Kirk and Nathan Yuille, with a minority interest held by Bruce Beakey, a senior adviser. Now adding Anthony and Stuart as shareholders and Directors to Sherrin Partners.

The merged practice will continue to reinforce the quality of advice and standard of service that MLIG has delivered in the past, but add the critical benefit of continuity of service beyond MLIG’s capabilities.  In this regard, the merged practice will have 17 total staff, which includes 7 professional advisors.

We thank you for your support and look forward to continuing to provide you with professional strategic financial advice in the years to come.
