Kris Chand

In 2017 I made the difficult decision to change my career from healthcare to financial services. Soon after, I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to join the team at Sherrin Partners. I was welcomed by a highly professional team, who’s client focused values mirrored the patient-focused beliefs that I had developed over my many years of practicing pharmacy. Over the past several years I have had the opportunity to work in numerous roles in the industry which have supplemented my formal education with vital practical experience and industry know-how.

I have completed a Graduate Certificate and a Masters in Financial Planning, both from Griffith University and have a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from UQ. I have also passed the FASEA Financial Adviser exam.

The alignment of values and workplace culture at Sherrin Partners has meant that I have not for one second regretted the decision to transition from being a trusted healthcare adviser to a trusted financial adviser. As a former pharmacist, it was the relationships with my patients that drove me. As a financial adviser, I am looking forward to forming meaningful, long-term relationships with clients where I can provide not only financial advice, but make a positive impact on people’s lives by helping bring their financial dreams to fruition.

In my downtime you’ll find me relaxing at the beach with my family, reading a good book or cheering on my favorite sports team.
