Over 30 years’ industry experience – 20 years in large superannuation & funds management before starting Sherrin Partners in 1996.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Tertiary qualifications in: Economics, Finance and Education from the University of Queensland.

I established Sherrin Partners to provide simple, clear and highly personalised advice based on what clients really want to achieve – rather than the products that can be sold to them based solely on their assets & liabilities. We’ve grown by keeping this at our core.

I’m very proud of the work our team is involved in with Footprints – a local charity that provides support for people who are disadvantaged by disabilities, mental health issues, social and financial issues, and homelessness.

Nathan Yuille

EXPERIENCE
I joined the financial services industry in 1999, mostly working with large banking institutions. Since 2006, I have been a financial adviser and a director of Sherrin Partners since 2009.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Economics (University of Queensland); Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from FINSIA. Active member in the Association of Financial Planners (AFA), completed the Australian Institute Company Director’s Course (GAICD), and a Justice of the Peace. Successful completion of the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam.

Then offering meaningful advice on investment, wealth creation, and retirement makes financial planning deeply rewarding. Stuart Carter

EXPERIENCE
Emergency Paramedic in the UK for 5 years before migrating to Australia and joining the financial services sector in 2007 – originally in general insurance, then as an adviser & director of MLIG. Since 2013, a Director of Sherrin Partners.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), Chartered Life Practitioner (CHLP) through the Association of Financial Advisers. Successful completion of the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam and the Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.

WHY HERE, WHY THIS?
When MLIG and Sherrin Partners merged, we brought together two client-centric practices. I’m here to continue my career helping young professionals balance their long-term financial goals with their day-to-day choices.

Bruce Beakey

EXPERIENCE
In the financial services industry since 1987 and providing personalised financial advice since 1996 – specialising in superannuation, investment strategies, retirement planning and optimising assets for aged pensions entitlements. Joined Sherrin Partners in 2011 an adviser and shareholder.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Justice of the Peace (Commissioner of Declarations); Fellow of both the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF). I am a panel member for the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), a past board member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and successfully completed the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam.

It’s tremendously satisfying to convert my financial experience and knowledge into positive outcomes for clients in an organisation where the client’s best interests are at the heart of everything.

Stephanie Woo

EXPERIENCE

I have worked in financial services since 2009 and joined Sherrin Partners as a Client Services Officer in 2012. I progressed into the Practice Manager role in 2017. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre, a Diploma in Financial Planning and have recently completed my Executive Masters of Business Administration.

Billy Oswell

EXPERIENCE
I entered the Australian financial services industry after several years working in London. Joined Sherrin Partners as an adviser in early 2015.

Bachelor of Law & Business (Queensland University of Technology) and Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Recent successful completion of the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam and a Master of Applied Finance (Queensland University of Technology).
