I started at Sherrin Partners in October 2022 as a Receptionist/Client Service Officer and have since transitioned full-time into the Client Service Officer position. Since joining Sherrin Partners, I have completed my Bachelor of Business.

I joined Sherrin Partners as an Office Coordinator in 2016, bringing with me nearly a decade of experience in administration, marketing and events. As the business grew, the need for an Operations team arose, and in 2021, I transitioned into the role of Operations Coordinator.

EXPERIENCE

I have worked in the financial services industry since 2017 and was fortunate to join the Sherrin Partners team at the beginning of 2021 as a Paraplanner. I obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University in 2018 and am currently studying my Master of Financial Planning.

OUTLOOK

I aim to utilise my experience, qualifications, and passion for the industry to become a respected and trustworthy adviser. I will be focusing on preparing high-level advice documents for our valued clients and continuing to develop my knowledge base to prepare me for this progression.

EXPERIENCE

Started in the financial services industry in 1999. Worked in various roles in London and Dublin before returning to Sydney in 2002. Worked within a broad cross section of businesses ranging from Global Asset Managers (Credit Suisse) to boutique Hedge Funds (Basis Capital and Arnott Capital) before moving to Scone, NSW in 2010 as a Private Client Adviser. I started my own financial planning business in 2014 prior to joining Sherrin Partners in 2019.

Experience

I started at Sherrin Partners in January 2019 with a background in management, client service and marketing. I completed my Master of Marketing and Graduate Certificate in Human Resources. I am a certified Mental Health First Aider and Associate Member of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI). I leverage my experience to elevate our marketing, human resource processes, business culture and employee engagement.

My husband and I both lead a very active lifestyle and enjoy traveling domestically and internationally as much as possible. If we’re not playing sports such as Aussie Rules, Tennis or Golf over the weekend, we are generally enjoying our time at the beach or hiking one of the glasshouse mountains.

I joined the Sherrin Partners Client Service team in 2022 after working in other capacities since 2018. I graduated UniSC with a Bachelor of Business in 2024.

I have been involved in the Financial Planning industry since the late 80’s when I started working for AMP. After some time exploring other ventures, I re-joined the industry via Watermark Financial Services in 2010 as a Senior Customer Service Officer.

I enjoy working in an environment where our main concern is continuing to deliver high quality service to our expanding list of clients.

When I am not at work, I enjoy playing golf, spending time with mates at Mooloolaba Surf Club and quality time with my family.

I worked at Sherrin Partners during university. After a few years of practice as a lawyer, I decided to rejoin the industry in order to enjoy work every single day.

After studying Finance and Accounting at the University of Queensland, I joined Sherrin Partners in 2015. Since this time, I have gained invaluable experience and knowledge of the industry.

Steve is the Principal of Principia Investment Consultants and an independent member of the Sherrin Partners Investment Committee. He has a rare combination of technical, research, and communication skills that have taken him to the top levels of academia, finance, and business. He holds a PhD in Mathematics, a Master of Applied Finance, a Bachelor of Science (Honours in Physics) and an Arts degree in History and Politics. Steve has worked as a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics and for the last 20 years as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for a leading global funds management business.

Our Investment Committee is responsible for making all decisions with respect to the composition of our Approved Product List (APL) and the structure of our model portfolios into which the majority of our clients invest. Steve’s role on the Investment Committee is to provide an unbiased opinion and external view of these decisions.
